【摘要】:Blockingdevelopsinfilmprocessingandstoragewhenlayersofsmoothfilmareinintimatecontactwithnearlycompleteexclusionofair.Temperature,orpressure,orboth,caninduceorchangethedegreeofadhesionofthesurfaces.Theprocedureofthistestmethodcloselysimulatestheoperationofseparatingfilminsomeend-useapplications.1.1Thistestmethodyieldsquantitativeinformationregardingthedegreeofblocking(unwantedadhesion)existingbetweenlayersofplasticfilm.Itisnotintendedtomeasuresusceptibilitytoblocking.1.2Bythisprocedure,thefilm-to-filmadhesion,expressedasablockingloadingrams,willcausetwolayersoffilmwithanareaofcontactof100cm2toseparate.Thetestmethodislimitedtoamaximumloadof200g.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThistestmethodissimilartoISO11502MethodB,butisnottechnicallyequivalent.
