【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscarbonandalloysteelcastingsforpressure-containingandotherapplicationsintendedprimarilyforpetroleumandgaspipelinesinareassubjecttolow-ambienttemperatures.Castingsshallbeheattreatedbynormalizingandtemperingorliquidquenchingandtempering.Allclassesareweldableunderproperconditions.Hardenabilityofsomegradesmaylimitusablesectionsize.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.2.1Unlesstheorderspecifiesanx201C;Mx201D;designation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
