【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedforthedigestionofleadindustwipesamplescollectedduringvariousleadhazardactivitiesperformedinandaroundbuildingsandrelatedstructures.Thispracticeisalsointendedforthedigestionofleadindustwipesamplescollectedduringandafterbuildingrenovations.ThispracticeisapplicabletothedigestionofdustwipesamplesthathaveorhavenotbeencollectedinaccordancewithPracticeE1728usingwipesthatmayormaynotconformtoSpecificationE1792.Thispracticeisapplicabletothedigestionofdustwipesamplesthatwereplacedineitherhard-walled,rigidcontainerssuchas50-mLcentrifugetubesorflexibleplasticbags.Note28212;Duetothedifficultyinperformingquantitativetransfersofsomesamplesfromplasticbags,hard-walledrigidcontainerssuchas50-mLplasticcentrifugetubesarerecommendedforsamplecollection.DigestatespreparedaccordingtothispracticeareintendedtobeanalyzedforleadconcentrationusingspectrometrictechniquessuchasInductivelyCoupledPlasmaAtomicEmissionSpectrometry(ICP-AES)andFlameAtomicAbsorptionSpectrometry(FAAS)(seeTestMethodE1613),orusingelectrochemicaltechniquessuchasanodicstrippingvoltammetry(seePracticeE2051).Thispracticeisnotcapableofdeterminingleadboundwithinmatrices,suchassilica,thatarenotsolubleinnitricacid.Thispracticeiscapableofdeterminingleadboundwithinpaint.1.1Thispracticecoverstheaciddigestionofsurfacedustsamples(collectedusingwipesamplingpractices)andassociatedqualitycontrol(QC)samplesforthedeterminationoflead.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thispracticecontainsnoteswhichareexplanatoryandnotpartofmandatoryrequirementsofthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
