【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesforaseparationofcoal-associatedsulfurintotwocommonlyrecognizedforms:pyriticandsulfate.Organicsulfuriscalculatedbydifference.Resultsobtainedbythetestmethodareusedtoserveanumberofinterests,includingtheevaluationofcoalpreparationandprocessingoperationsdesignedtoreducecoalsulfurlevels.1.1Thistestmethodappliestothedeterminationofsulfatesulfurandpyriticsulfurincoalandcalculatesorganicsulfurbydifference.Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletocokeorothercarbonaceousmaterials.Monosulfides(pyritesandFeS2aredisulfides)ofironandelementssuchascadmium,lead,vanadium,andzinccanbepresentincoal.Intherangeof0to100ppm,thesemonosulfidesdonotcontributesignificantlytothetotalinorganicsulfidecontent.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
