【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensions,workmanship,flatteningresistance,impactresistance,pipestiffness,extrusionquality,joiningsystemsandaformofmarkingfortypePSMpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)sewerpipeandfittings.1.2PipeandfittingsproducedtothisspecificationshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithPracticeD2321.1.3Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section8,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
